Migrants’ Right Network wishes to recruit a Head of Policy and Parliamentary Affairs (6 months with a likelihood of extension)
Migrants' Rights Network (MRN) is an innovative national NGO working and campaigning for the rights of all migrants. Our overall mission is to promote a rights-based approach to migration, which reflects international human rights standards, and involves migrants as full partners in the development and implementation of policies that affect them.
MRN is seeking someone who is quick-thinking, with strong research and analysis skills. The candidate will have a strong track record in advocacy and campaigning and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. They will demonstrate exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a full and varied workload.
This post is an integral role for MRN, and will suit a candidate that has strong experience in working with parliamentarians, as well as someone with a keen motivation for migrant and refugee communities to be involved in the influencing process. They will have a robust understanding of how Parliament works, and how to engage influencers to advocate for change.
The charity is looking for exceptional candidates with a:

Real vision as to how this can be done in the current political, social and economic climate of the UK
Readiness to work with all groups and individuals who support in part or in whole the MRN mission
The salary will be £36,183 per annum. In addition, MRN contributes up to 6% of salary to pensions.
