United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Programme Assistant in Ankara, Turkey.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Programme Assistant will perform the following functions-
Monitor timely commitment and expenditure of budget to ensure accurate utilization and expenditures levels and provide regular analysis and reports using VISION for the decision on budget needs and transfers.
Collect information mainly from records and reports and prepares periodic and ad hoc reports on activitie.
Organize data and information, prepares and maintains records, documents and control plans for the monitoring of emergency response project/programme implementation.
Contribute to the preparation of reports, project documents and submissions to governments by providing information, preparing tables and drafting relatively routine sections.
Prepare background information for use in discussions with governments and other organizations.
Participate in the briefing and debriefing of project personnel.
Scrutinize plan of operation, exchange of letter and takes appropriate follow-up action.
Assist in the administrative process of government requests for assistance.
Applicants must have-
Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
University degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Political Science, International Finance, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines will be an asset.
Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical work experience is required.
Fluency in English and in the local language of the duty station required.
